Hillsdale Neighborhood Assn Meeting 1. Introductions 2. Approval of Agenda 3. Approval of Minutes 4. Bylaw revision -- Proposal to increase the number of directors from 7 to 11. Article V Board of Directors Section 1 Number. There shall be seven (7) directors on the board, including the officers, with power to vote on measures before the board. There may also be other, non-voting members who are not directors. It is proposed we change the number of directors from 7 to 11. The revised section 1 will then read: Article V Board of Directors Section 1 Number. There shall be eleven (11) directors on the board, including the officers, with power to vote on measures before the board. There may also be other, non-voting members who are not directors. If this is approved, we will number the positions 8,9,10, and 11. The even numbered positions will have 2 year terms, the odd number positions will have 1 year terms. 5. If the bylaw change is approved, report of the nominating committee for the candidates to these positions. Election of additional board members will follow. 7. BES has completed replacement stairs completed on Urban Trail 3 between Barbur and I5 in Himes Park. Photos of before and after sent to your Columbia email. BES has closed Trail 4 to clean up a large mess under the Terwilliger Bridge, trail will be open after 6pm until 7am each morning 6 days a week, and all day on Sundays. 8. Results of Hillsdale logo selection process. Do we as a neighborhood want to officially adopt the logo? Rick Seifert. 9. Update on the Solar Panel installation permits. Meeting at the Watershed. 10. Update on the Community Gardens at Stephens Creek. 11. Discussion of the planning effort which will be getting under way the first of September, what would the Hillsdale Neighborhood would like to get out of the process, what we need to do to be sure we get the desired results. 12. Governance: Ideas for changing the way the City of Portland deals with neighborhoods. Some have expressed ideas about this. Bring your ideas. 13. New Business 14. Adjourn |
